In July 2021, we organized our first ever fundraiser run/walk. Both a physical and virtual run, 5k4India helped us form a community of over 540 runners and walkers who collectively helped us raise $32,497 for the aid of vulnerable populations in India, against COVID-19. The amount raised was used to provide ventilators, oxygen concentrators, PPE kits, and groceries to underserved communities. We were able to put an ambulance on the ground and are also hoping to use the remainder of the funds in a more sustainable nature, by establishing a small health kiosk to benefit those for whom even basic healthcare requires a long trip to the next big city.
